World Ocean Day — why oceans matter

The boring draft

Score: 14 / 25 (Band C)

When we think about the oceans, we are thinking about half of our planet. Oceans give us with food, fresh oxygen, and a big place where many animals live. Without healthy oceans, life on land would get much harder.

Sadly, plastic waste and pollution hurt sea creatures every day. We can help the oceans in small ways: use reusable bags, stop single-use straws, and tell our friends about ocean conservation.

World Ocean Day reminds us that saving the sea is really our shared duty.
